Our mission is to give our customers the best visual examination, eye health consultation and outstanding service. Our dynamic team of 7 optometrists, opticians and stylists will take care of all your ocular-visual needs, from eye exam to frame selection.
Our History
Dr. Paulin Bélanger founded Bélanger Optometry Clinic 80 years ago. Soon after, he opened his office at the corner of De La Salle and Ste-Catherine-East in 1943, in his native neighbourhood.
Bélanger Optometry Clinic has undergone several transformations to meet the ever-growing demand of its clientele. Today, the clinic covers an area of 8000 sq. ft., while maintaining its personalized approach. Bélanger Optometry Clinic distinguishes itself as much by the competence of its optometrists as by its services at the cutting edge of technology.

Dr. Valérie Jasmin (OD) completed her Ph.D. in Optometry at the University of Montreal. She joined the Bélanger Clinic team in June 2016.
During her studies, she was awarded a fellowship for advanced training in contact lenses in Jacksonville, Florida. She has received several months’ training at the Institut de l'Oeil in Laurentides, where she was accepted for residency in ocular health in 2017.
Since then, she is working in both an optometrist's office and an ophthalmology practice, which allows her to have a varied practice and to constantly update her knowledge.
She sees patients of all ages, and will always greet you with a smile!
